Treating Behavioral Conditions

Annually, Cigna Behavioral Health reviews and adopts clinical practice guidelines relevant to the provision of acute and chronic behavioral health services to participants. By considering only published guidelines from recognized sources, Cigna Behavioral Health supports guidelines that are written and revised with appropriate peer review, based on scientific evidence, professional standards and expert opinion, and are known to be effective in improving health outcomes.
