The right help at the right time!Ingenix Name ChangeWhen you complete your next credentialing request from us, you may see an unfamiliar name. That’s because Ingenix, including Aperture Credentialing Inc. (their Credentials’ Verification Organization [CVO]), has begun a transition to a new company name, OptumInsight. Although the full transformation will not be complete until February 2012 changes are already underway We have an ongoing contract with OptumInsight to perform primary source verification on the credentials of health care professionals wishing to join our networks and health plans, as well as for continued participation in our behavioral network. In order to participate in our network, OptumInsight, including its subsidiary Aperture Credentialing Inc., will be contacting you on our behalf to submit credentialing information. Their credentialing services of OptumInsight are fully certified by National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and accredited by URAC. Please note that OptumInsight takes identity theft seriously and ensures your data is safe. They only contract with health plans, and their security measures have been approved by leading accrediting bodies. OptumInsight has never had a security breach on health care professional data records.
