MAINTAINING YOUR CLINICAL SPECIALTIES

CIGNA maintains a listing of your clinical specialties in your profile. This article contains information about a few specialties that have recently been added as well as how to maintain the specialties listed for you.

CULTURAL AND LINGUISTIC ANALYSIS

CIGNA attempts to connect people seeking behavioral health care treatment with behavioral health care professionals who can meet their linguistic and cultural needs and preferences. Annually, CIGNA analyzes the ethnic composition of the network of behavioral health care professionals, comparing it to the general population and to individuals known to have benefits through CIGNA. We continue to recruit new professionals where diversity needs have not been met and to use language interpretation services, as appropriate.
