The right help at the right time!PROVIDER SATISFACTION SURVEYAs of February, CIGNA's behavioral Provider Satisfaction Survey is available to participants via the web. The tool will help us to continuously improve the quality of our network as well as to comply with NCQA requirements regarding provider concerns. The survey asks the participant to provide feedback on their experiences related to ‘Office and Appointment Availability’ and ‘Treatment’. In June, an enhanced version of the survey will go into production and will be more visible. Currently, the link to access the survey is within the Provider Search function. Starting in June, links may be found in various locations on our Member pages as well. To safeguard the integrity of the data, we’re adding logic into the programming of the survey to prohibit a participant from ‘spamming’ the system. The survey is compromised of three distinct sections. The first, the ‘Office and Appointment Availability’ section, allows the participant to provide feedback on handicap accessibility, building and office appearance, and meeting appointment time frames for routine, urgent, emergency, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) visits. The second, the ‘Treatment’ section, allows the participant to provide feedback on getting an appointment when needed, getting the information on their condition as needed, rating their treatment, comparing problems or symptoms then and now, as well as asking if they would recommend the provider to family and friends. The last, ‘Additional Comments’ section, is available for free-form comments for compliments and/or concerns. CIGNA is encouraging members/participants to use the Provider Satisfaction Survey. To comply with NCQA regulations, CIGNA staff will review comments and follow up with providers as necessary.
