Thank you for your interest in joining the CIGNA behavioral
health provider network. CIGNA works in partnership with providers to
offer the highest quality of service to CIGNA members, while also
striving to ensure provider satisfaction by offering tools and
resources to assist you in managing your practice. At CIGNA, we value
the experience and knowledge of all clinicians, however contract
applications are sent based upon identified network needs, except as
required by law. All requests to join the network will be screened but
may not result in a contract offer. Before completing any screening
materials, please take a moment to review the information on the
following pages, which outlines CIGNA's current recruitment needs.
**PLEASE NOTE: If you are requesting to join the
CIGNA behavioral health provider network in order to continue
treatment with a specific participant, please advise the member to
contact the customer service number on his/her card and speak with a
CIGNA Personal Advocate, who can review options which might be
available to him/her. If you meet recruitment criteria and CIGNA
extends a contract offer, the full credentialing process takes
approximately 3 months to be completed, at which time you will be
approved as an in-network provider.**
