Provider Portal Enhancements

We are pleased to announce recent enhancements to the CIGNA provider portal for behavioral practitioners. Frequent visitors of our web site will notice a new look to the pages as well as improved links to additional information. New visitors, please take a moment to review our tools, which we anticipate will simplify administrative tasks and allow for more face-to-face time with your clients.

The following enhancements became effective February 1st:

• New Provider Home Page with enhanced colors and simplified organization.
• Link to Provider Self Introduction, a unique opportunity to design an online profile. The tool is used for consumers to understand your practice when searching for a provider in our online directory.
• Updated News and Information section containing a library of resources including archived editions of The Practitioner Connection, our quarterly newsletter and monthly eBrief publications.
• Updated Medical Management Program, which is your guide to your contract with CIGNA.
• Enhanced Forms and Tools page linking to frequently used forms, and advises which tools require a secure login. Here are just a few of the quick links available:
        o Submit A Claim
        o Update Your Profile.
        o Check Eligibility and Benefit Information.
