Eating Disorder Awareness — A Cigna Education Series

Cigna offers a free Education Awareness series designed to provide parents, family members and caregivers with information on the physical, mental, and emotional issues common in those who have an eating disorder, like anorexia nervosa and bulimia. The information in this series is designed to educate those who may be dealing with these day to day challenges.


Surviving The Holidays If You Have An Eating Disorder

For a majority of people with eating disorders the holidays are a stressful time that can lead to an increase in eating disorder behaviors. During this presentation, we'll cover information to help you understand the risk for binge eating and how other eating disorder symptoms can occur during the holidays. We'll also discuss specific steps that can be taken to reduce the risk of eating disorder behaviors, plus ways to increase the use of coping skills.
