What we look for in our providers
The accreditation process for CBH is extensive. We carefully investigate
many factors, including years practicing, counseling specialties, and
provider credential levels. Our providers include: psychiatrists, PhD level
providers, and licensed Masters and Social worker level counselors. A
provider is required to be a licensed professional that can practice
independently in the state in which they are licensed.
Cigna Behavioral Health has worked to develop a provider network that is
convenient for your needs. We know that finding a provider that is close to
your home can be important with busy schedules. For people living in rural
areas, Cigna Behavioral Health will do the "leg work," finding a
caring provider for your situation and location.
We want to hear from you
The best judge for evaluating our providers is you. We are always available
to receive feedback from you concerning your experience with our providers.
We will be proactive with this feedback. Hearing the good feedback helps
reinforce our strong provider network. Likewise, if you have concerns about
your experience with a provider, it is important that we hear that too. Our
dedicated staff will respond to any questions or concerns in a timely
manner.
It is very important for you to find a "good fit" with the
provider you select. The information provided here helps you to better
understand what we at CBH look for in a provider and what they can offer
you. By identifying the expertise and specialties of our providers, our hope
is to pair your needs for the best possible care for you and your family. We
are here to help you meet those needs.
